Our trained and experienced technicians can go out and diagnose your problem, determine what it’ll take to fix it, and quote a price for the recommended repair. If you approve us to complete the recommended repairs at the time of the diagnostic, we’ll waive the $125 fee and only charge the repairs that were done. Common heater repair problems include: control circuit boards, draft motors, flame sensors, gas valves, spark auto-ignitions, start capacitors, and thermostats.

Heating Maintenance

Most repair problems are caused by a lack of maintenance; regular service avoids expensive repairs, and extends your heater’s lifetime. Regular heater servicing also assures that all the safety features are working properly for your protection. AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) is the measure of your heater’s energy efficiency, and falls as components age or get out of adjustment. So it’s important to have some preventive maintenance before the heating season starts and you find yourself cold on a rainy day.

P.S. You should remember to take care of the air filter yourself, otherwise you’ll have reduced air flow and more strain on your heating system. They usually need replacing around every 3 months of operation, but should be checked monthly and replaced as needed.
